Single Edits & Coaching Sessions

Are you only looking for 1-2 meetings to verify you're headed in a promising direction with your essay? Do you need 1-2 rounds of edits on your final drafts?

Note: If you know that you would benefit from coaching support through the entire process of writing the personal essay, supplemental essays, or both, then you should check out the my coaching packages here. In the long run those options are cheaper than paying for each edit and coaching session.​

"One Round of Edits" includes:

  • Cost: $150

  • 1 round of edits on either one draft of a personal essay or the combined supplemental essays for one school

  • Edits will include some "macro-level" feedback and suggestions, focused on "big picture" issues; edits will also include some "micro-level" feedback, focused on suggested cuts and revisions of individual sentences.

  • Each essay submission must be 800 or fewer words. For each word beyond 800, an additional $0.30 will be charged.

"One-On-One Coaching (per hour)" includes:

  • Cost: $150

  • 1 hour coaching session

  • One-on-one coaching online.

  • We can work together on whatever phase of the writing process you need help with, including analyzing and editing a draft together in real-time.
